Typical FDLE Processing Time
The FDLE normally processes submissions within 24 to 72 hours of receipt.
"Transaction Not Found" Error? This means:
The TCN was entered incorrectly.
Not enough time has passed (please allow 24-48 hours for the system to update).
If the error persists after 48 hours, please contact us.
Common Status Meanings:
Submitted/Under Review:
Your application is being processed.
Completed - No Response:
Processing is complete. No criminal history was found.
Completed - Response:
Processing is complete. A record was found.
Rejected:
The fingerprints were unreadable. You will need to be re-fingerprinted.
Important Note on Final Results
The status shown on the FDLE site only reflects the processing of your fingerprints. The agency that requested your background check (e.g., AHCA, DOE, your employer) may have additional internal steps and will make the final determination. You must contact them directly for your final approval status and their specific timeline.
